Musical Artist Paula Abdul, known for her singing, dancing, choreography, and TV appearances, gave a panel at Steel City Con December 2022 to talk about her career, experiences, and to answer fan questions.
Paula Abdul began as a cheerleader for the LA Lakers but became a choreographer for various stars, including The Jacksons. This led to her launching her own musical career with her debut studio album “Forever Your Girl,” which set a record for the most number-one singles from a debut album. After several more albums, she became a regular judge on American Idol and later other talent-seeking shows such as Live to Dance, The X Factor, and So You Think You Can Dance. She is also performing live shows and continues to appear on television.
