English gothic rockers The Sisters of Mercy rolled through Philadelphia last week, supported by electronic duo act Blaqk Audio. Andrew Eldritch’s current lineup of guitarists Ben Christo and Kai took the stage with former Sisters guitarist Chris Catalyst running the band’s drum machine, “Doktor Avalanche.”
While the show’s moody lighting and fog presented a photographic challenge, the fans there to see it live were immersed in an atmosphere perfectly suited for the music.
