Karl Urban, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott and Laz Alonso took the stage for a panel on The Boys and gave a few hints on Season Two. They spoke about the impact of the show and answered fan questions.
The Boys has been a great hit on Amazon Prime and shows a gritty, realistic view of superheroes. Based on the comic book, it covers all kinds of adult themes and the darker side of society.
Karl Urban plays Billy Butcher on the show, who is out to destroy Homelander, the leader of the Seven. This amazing actor is also known for playing Leonard “Bones” McCoy in the recent Star Trek movies, as well as roles in Thor: Ragnorok, Almost Human, Dredd, Lord of the Rings and Xena: Warrior Princess.
Erin Moriarty is Starlight on The Boys, but also had a role in Jessica Jones. She also appeared in Red Widow and in Kong: Skull Island.
Antony Starr played the powerful Homelander, but also had roles in Banshee and American Gothic, to name a few.
Dominique McElligott is Queen Maeve, but is known for House of Cards, The Last Tycoon and The Astronaut Wives Club.
Laz Alonso plays Mother’s Milk on The Boys, but is also known for Avatar, Southland and L.A.’s Finest.
The Boys returns for a second season in July 2020.
