Do you want to play a game?

A new addition to the Saw franchise is reportedly in the works, with Saw IV and Saw: The Final Chapter director Kevin Greutert set to helm the project.

The news comes from Bloody Disgusting, who exclusively revealed that development on the franchise’s tenth installment is underway.

Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are keeping plot details under wraps, but the producers are assuring fans that the new film will capture their hearts – and other body parts – with all-new twisted, ingenious traps and a new mystery to solve.

Producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules said:

“We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love. And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans’ favorites in the entire series.

The Saw franchise was rebooted in 2021 with the release of Spiral: From The Book of Saw, which was directed by Darren Bousman. The film went on to earn $40 million at the worldwide box office.

We will report more details when they become available.
