Demon Slayer In Concert Coming to New York & California

In addition to a colorful cast of characters and stunning animation, one of the elements that has contributed to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba being one of the highest rated anime of all time is its captivating music. The franchise has been nominated for Best Score at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards four seasons in a row (Kimetsu no Yaiba in 2020, Mugen Train Arc in 2022, Entertainment District Arc in 2023, and Swordsmith Village Arc in 2024), and the most recent season (Hashira Training Arc) is likely a strong contender for a Best Score nomination in 2025. For two days only later this month, fans on both the East and West coasts of the United States can immerse themselves in this masterful soundtrack via Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba In Concert. This unique musical experience will feature a live band performing music from the first 26 episodes of the anime (also called the “Unwavering Resolve Arc”) while clips from the anime play on a large screen behind them.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba In Concert will occur on the final two Saturdays of September 2024: September 21st at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, and on September 28th at Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, California. Each venue will have both a matinee and evening showing (1:00 PM and 7:30 PM for Golden Gate Theatre, 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM for Kings Theatre). The concert has an expected runtime of about 2.5 hours, including a 20-minute intermission.

Ticket prices for the San Francisco performances range from $40 to $131; tickets for the Brooklyn performances are just slightly more expensive at $49 to $136. You can purchase tickets for either location here.
