Classic TV Sitcom Actors John O’Hurley, Jim J Bullock, Barry Bostwick, Peter Scolari and Lydia Cornell gave a virtual panel through Wizard World Virtual Experiences 2021 to talk about these hilarious sitcoms, their careers and to answer fan questions.
John O’Hurley was J. Peterman, Elaine’s boss, in 20 episodes of Seinfeld. His acting careers and iconic voice have won him roles in Hercules, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Weber Show, The Mullets, Duck Dodgers, The Looney Tunes Show, Phineas and Ferb, Devious Maids, Archer and Malibu Dan the Family Man.
Jim J Bullock was the amazing Monroe Ficus in Too Close for Comfort for 118 episodes, but he has also been seen in Spaceballs, ALF, The Bold and the Beautiful, Ron and Laura Take Back America, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide and voice work in Queer Duck, Animated Hero Classics and Animated Stories from the New Testament.
Barry Bostwick was The Major in Spin City for 145 episodes, but is also well known for the Rocky Horror Picture Show, War and Remembrance, Dads, Still the King, Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce and voice work in Phineas and Ferb.
Peter Scolari played Henry Desmond and Hilde in Bosom Buddies opposite Tom Hanks. He was also in 142 episodes of Newhart and had roles in Family Album, Dweebs, Touched by an Angel and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.
Lydia Cornell played Sara Rush on Too Close for Comfort for 106 episodes, plus appeared on The Love Boat, Knight Rider, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Monsters, Full House, Quantum Leap, TJ Hooker, Hunter and The A-Team.
