While episode details remain unknown, the new season will pick up after the catastrophic events of the season 2 finale. Jensen Ackles Soldier Boy is expected to play a pivotal role as the war between The Boys and The Seven continues. Reports also suggest the series will double down on the explicit and outrageous content with series creator Eric Kripke confirming the notorious Herogasm episode will happen.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kripke gave fans his description of season 3.
“There’s definitely a lot of madness. It’s not a secret that we’re doing an episode about “Herogasm” from the comics [a six-issue limited series from comics writer Garth Ennis], which is a massive superhero orgy. And we’re doing something in the first episode that I think is definitely the craziest thing we’ve ever pulled off…and might be one of the craziest things anybody’s ever tried to pull off.”
