Paramount Pictures has released two new trailers for director Damien Chazelle’s new film Babylon. The trailers are titled “Naughty” and “Nice.”
The “Nice” trailer shows Brad Pitt as Jack Conrad optimistically talking about the future of Hollywood, exclaiming that the industry needs to “innovate” and then things get absolutely bonkers. The “Naughty” trailer features Tobey Maguire’s James McKay laughing maniacally, followed by lots of footage from the film showing complete party madness, death, and inappropriate pranks. Both trailers feature nudity.
Babylon is described as an epic tale “of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.” It’s said to be like The Great Gatsby but on steroids.
The film also stars Margot Robbie as Nellie LaRoy, Diego Calva as Manny Torres, Jean Smart as Elinor St. John, Jovan Adepo as Sidney Palmer, and Li Jun Li as Lady Fay Zhu. The movie also stars Lukas Haas as George Munn.
