This weekend, Venom won again but is it a success? The Wild Robot continues to be loved and two new movies share some love. This is your weekend box office results.
1. Venom: The Last Dance took in another 16.2 million dollars this past week making it number 1 at the box office again. The movie has done very well overseas but not as well domestically. The numbers may look good but with each film that comes out, the movies make less and less money.
2. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever in its first weekend took in 11.1 million dollars. The holiday film based on a novel has received great reviews from critics and audiences alike and it seems audiences are already into the Christmas spirit.
3. Heretic was very close to taking the second spot bringing in 11 million dollars. The new horror film from A24 is getting rave reviews. With a budget of only about 10 million dollars, the movie will be a success.
4. The Wild Robot is one of the best movies of the year and it took in another 6.6 million dollars. This is amazing considering the movie is already available to rent at home.
5. Smile 2 took in another 5 million dollars. With this, Smile 2 has already become one of the most profitable horror movies of the year.
