Today’s Fandom Funding is The Surgeon: Heroic.
The Surgeon is a comic created by Unlikely Heroes Studios. The story is set about 15 years after the world fell apart, where a nomadic physician struggles to survive in a savage frontier of the poor and powerless, trying to balance her calling as a healer with the necessity of killing for survival. As a consequence, maybe she’s become more skilled with her saber than she is with a scalpel, and she’s trying to get out from under that reputation.
The Surgeon already has 3 issues out but this Kickstarter is looking to the fans to help get issue #4 created.
Chapter 4: Heroic promises, “The physician remains the killer. The warrior becomes her patient. And a new threat is found among the bones of the old.” Now that sounds intense.
Unlikely Heroes Studios has already reached its goal of $6,500, but that doesn’t mean that the work is done. The Surgeon’s Kickstarter still has stretch goals and those stretch goals equal more cool stuff for you!
As always you can back this campaign without receiving any perks, but no one is judging you if want some perks.
Pledge $5 or more to this Kickstarter and you qualify for a Digital Dissection. A Digital Dissection gets you a digital copy of The Surgeon: Chapter 4.
For $10 it’s Time for Your Physical, this perk includes the physical print copy and a digital copy of Chapter 4.
A donation of $25 or more and you can get a Quadruple Bypass! Not the actual medical procedure. This perk offers fans Chapters 1-4 in print and digital.
Feeling generous? Holofoil Hospitalist might be a perk for you. By backing the campaign with a donation of $70, you will receive a copy of Chapter 4: The Special Holofoil Edition, a Rogers Dollar-Sized Silver Coin, a “Word is Bond” Dog Tag, High-Quality Art Prints, and a physical and digital copy of Chapter 4.
