Square Enix Shares 2 Special Kingdom Heart Announcements!

The ambitious, video game crossover franchise, Kingdom Hearts, will be turning 20 years old in April of this year. To celebrate the game that combines Disney, Final Fantasy, and Pixar, Square Enix will be hosting anniversary events in Tokyo.

On April 10, 2022, the 20th-anniversary celebrations will include a mini-concert, a chat and Q&A with the development team, an exhibition, and much more. There will be more information, including a video to be released at a later date.

The release date for the cloud version of the Kingdom Hearts games for Nintendo Switch was also announced. A special trailer was shared on Kingdom Hearts’ official YouTube Channel.

Fans can purchase the cloud version of the franchise for the Switch at the Nintendo Eshop.

If you purchase the Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC) either standalone or as part of the all-in-one Kingdom Hearts Intergrum Masterpiece on Nintendo Switch you’ll receive the new Advent Red Keyblade to wield in the game!

This is not the first time Kingdom Hearts has been playable on a Nintendo system. The games Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days were both exclusives on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS respectively.
