Neil Patrick Harris Joins Doctor Who Special

Next year, Doctor Who will be celebrating its 60th anniversary. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the BBC will be airing a TV special.

In addition to marking the 60th anniversary of the sci-fi series, it will be Jodie Whittaker’s last year as the 13th Doctor. Ncuti Gatwa will take over as the 14th Doctor.

Back to the anniversary special.

Actor Neil Patrick Harris has been reportedly cast as the villain for the Doctor Who Special.

The photo above is the first look at Harris’s character. It does give villain vibes or just a very grumpy grandpa. Be sure to sound off in the comments below.

David Tennant (the 10th Doctor) and Catherine Tate are both reported to be returning for the anniversary episode.
