Dave Bautista is set to star in M. Night Shyamalan’s next feature release ‘Knock At The Cabin’.
The Guardians of the Galaxy and Dune star has worked with many of Hollywood’s elite directors and is now set to add another impressive name to that list.
The actor tweeted his excitement to the news, stating it’s a “dream come true”.

The former WWE Superstar has enjoyed a meteoric rise in Hollywood, starring in some of the industry’s biggest franchises. His breakout came playing the role of Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, which he’s reprised in movies like Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and the forthcoming Thor: Love and Thunder.
His most recent roles have seen the actor star in Zack Synder’s Army of the Dead, and Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic, Dune.
Shyamalan’s appetite for the unusual is represented in most of his work, and his style will mark a huge change for the actor, whose main body of work has come in the action/comedy genres. Bautista has previously spoken about his love for the business and his desire to test himself in different areas. A collaboration with the Sixth Sense director will certainly allow him to test his acting credentials.
Little is known about the film, but Shyamalan is set to write, produce and direct. The film is tentatively set to debut in theaters on February 3rd, 2023.
The director has only shared sparing information on the project via his Twitter page, saying that he’d completed the most recent draft of “the next one” and called it “Super tight, Under a 100 pages.”
Bautista is currently in production on James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and is also set to appear in Knives Out 2.
