The Boys Cast Talks Season 3 and Solider Boy

Cast members from Amazon Prime Video’s hit series The Boys held a panel at Dragon Con 2021.  The Boys and Members of the Seven answered questions from the fans during the live panel.

A savvy fan asked the group a question regarding information already in the press but never really confirmed. “What can you tell us about any new characters we’re gonna see in season 3?” the fan asked while the audience laughed.

Laz Alonso, who plays Mother’s Milk, took the reigns on answering the question:

“I mean, obviously, you’re asking about Soldier Boy, who is played by Jensen Ackles […] Who is amazing and a monster on-screen and off. He’s a brilliant, brilliant guy. [He] brings so much empathy and nuance and intelligence to the role […] All I can say is we have our work cut out for us with him. We have our hands beyond full […] He’s a force to be reckoned with. […]”

Alonso also discussed the danger Solider Boy brings to season 3:

“Last season, Stormfront, was really difficult to first figure out and then tackle, as the supervillain that season.  Well, with Solider Boy, there is not any time to figure him out.[…] he comes in swinging for the fences, and that’s the challenge that kinda raises the bar this season. “

The Boys star also confirms with the other members on the panel that season 3 is better than the past two seasons.

“We were hoping before the season started to outdo season two […] I don’t know what you guys think, but I think we outdid season 1 and two put together.”

Season 3 of The Boys’ Filming recently wrapped up, and it is slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2022.
