Snake Eyes, a fan-favorite from the iconic G.I. Joe toy line, is getting his own solo film. Snake Eyes, a G. I. Joe Origins film will be slicing its way into theaters on July 23, 2021. Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding plays our titular protagonist and we got your first look at him in his new role.
Did you just get goosebumps from looking at the movie poster too?
Henry Golding’s Snake Eyes is an origin story about the man underneath the mask- a man who was a tenacious loner and welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teaches Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him.
Along with Golding, Snake Eyes has an all-star cast! Lucky for you, we have stills from the film of that good-looking cast.
