Actor Ray Liotta has passed away at the age of 67.
It has been reported that Liotta died Wednesday night or early Thursday in his sleep in his hotel room while in the Dominican Republic making the movie Dangerous Waters. His fiancée was with him. He had begun work on the film about a week ago.
Arguably best known for his role as mobster-turned-FBI informant Henry Hill in the 1990 film Goodfellas, as well as Shoeless Joe Jackson in 1989’s Field of Dreams. With a number of other notable works include: Something Wild (1986), Unlawful Entry (1992), Cop Land (1997), Hannibal (2001), Blow (2001), John Q (2002), Identity (2003), Observe and Report (2009), Killing Them Softly (2012), The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), Marriage Story (2019), The Many Saints of Newark (2021), Shades of Blue (2016–2018), along with a number of other works.
He is survived by his fiancée, Jacy Nittolo, daughter and actress Karsen Liotta, whom he shares with ex-wife Michelle Grace, and a sister, Linda Liotta Matthews.
