The 2020 Creative Arts Emmys: All the Fandom Winners

The Creative Arts Emmys were hosted last Monday-Thursday and concluded on Saturday. Just like any award show, there are winners and losers. The 2020 Emmys had many winners from the world of fandom. If you were busy this weekend or maybe you didn’t know the Emmys were airing, don’t worry. Fandom Spotlite has created a list of fandom winners, so you can see if your favorite took home a golden trophy.

HBO’s Watchmen series took home a lot of gold. This doesn’t surprise us, as the series was near-perfect.

The Baby Yoda Show- I mean The Mandalorian was another fandom winner at the Creative Arts Emmys.

Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Drama Series, Limited Series Or Movie
Outstanding Cinematography For A Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour) for “Chapter 7: The Reckoning.”
Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour) for “Chapter 1: The Mandalorian”
Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation for “Chapter 1: The Mandalorian”
Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation for “Chapter 2: The Child”
Outstanding Special Visual Effects for “Chapter 2: The Child”

Rick & Morty

The legendary Adult Swim show Rick & Morty came away with one award and that was for Outstanding Animated Program. They beat out The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Bojack Horseman, and Big Mouth.

Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a prequel to the cult film Dark Crystal. They won a Creative Art Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Program. 

Mr.Robot

Though Mr. Robot is no longer on the air, it did manage to scoop up an Emmy. The series won Outstanding Interactive Extension Of A Linear Program for “Season_4.0 ARG.”

Star Trek: Picard

The emotional Star Trek spin-off beamed up a win for Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For A Series, Limited Series, Movie Or Special for “Absolute Candor.”

Stranger Things

A global phenomenon, Stranger Things received a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour) for “Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt.”
