20th Century Studios and Hulu have released a chilling first trailer for their latest release, ‘No Exit’. Based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Taylor Adams, the film will be released this month.
A synopsis for the film reads:
A college student, on her way home from visiting her mother, gets stuck with a group of people at a mountain rest stop during a blizzard. Things take a turn for the worse when the young woman discovers a kidnapped child in a car belonging to one of the people inside, putting the group in a terrifying life-or-death situation as they struggle to escape while trying to discover who among them is the kidnapper.
Check out the trailer below.
No Exit stars Havana Rose Liu in her feature film leading role debut. The film will also star Danny Ramirez (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Top Gun: Maverick), David Rysdahl (Nine Days), Dale Dickey (Winter’s Bone), Mila Harris (Young Dylan), and Dennis Haysbert (Breakthrough, Lucifer).
Damian Power (Killing Ground) will direct from a script written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, who both worked on the Marvel film Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Given the mysterious nature of the film, the trailer is selective in how much it shows the audience. Director, Damian Power spoke on his approval of the trailer, saying:
“I think there are a few specific things I did not want in the trailer, which are not in the trailer. One, I think it’s really a great trailer and is the kind of thing that I would watch and want to see that film. And two, I think that it gives you a pretty fair picture of what the film is like, an intense, suspenseful, grounded thriller. So yeah, I’m really pleased with it. “
No Exit will be available to stream on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ and Star+ internationally on February 25th.
I did NOT know Hulu had their hands on this!! I read the book last year and it’s incredible so I’m hoping the adapation is handled with respect.
