HBO Max has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, that reveals a whole new set of teenagers being stalked by a masked killer.
While the new series will take place in the same continuity as the previous Pretty Little Liars television series, it will will follow new characters and storylines in a new setting.
A full synopsis for the series reads:
Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in present day, a disparate group of teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago…as well as their own. In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe — in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) teams up with Lindsay Calhoon Bring (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) to helm the new series.
The ten episode series will star Bailee Madison (The Strangers: Prey at Night), Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco as the new Liars. The series also stars Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson, and Alex Aiono.
Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will debut on HBO Max with three episodes on July 28th. Two new episodes will follow on August 4th and 11th, with the final three episodes landing on August 18th.
