Narcos and Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal has reportedly been cast in the lead role of the Disney+ series ‘The Mandalorian.’
This is the latest in several recent casting announcements, none of which have been officially announced or confirmed by Disney. Others include Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, as well as Temuera Morrison and Timothy Olyphant in unknown roles.
Twitter user “Noura” (@realsamwitwer) was the first known source to share this report, suggesting they may work for or know someone close to the production.
Esquire has reported that Disney CEO Bob Chapek stated production on season two wrapped before any pandemic shutdowns, and that the fall release date will be unaffected.
