Character styling inspired by manga artist 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗼 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗶 and featuring VO by actors from the current anime series.  𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 fighting game mechanic tuning and 𝗻𝗲𝘄 battle system features. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R is approaching Fall 2022 on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox & PC.

A Peek at Pinocchio

Pinocchio is another Disney classic getting the live-action treatment. This week the House of Mouse shared the first look at the upcoming feature film. This might be one of their most impressive remakes. Pinocchio stars Tom Hanks as Geppetto, and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth voices the famous puppet. Pinocchio is scheduled to be released on Disney Plus in September of this year.

Black Panther Director Detained, Body Cam Photage Revealed 

The director of Black Panther and Creed, Ryan Coogler, was mistaken by Atlanta police for a bank robber. Coogler’s exchange with the bank teller was misinterpreted when he handed a note. The director attempted to withdraw $10,000 from his account, but the bank’s system alerted the teller causing the teller to believe that Coogler’s actions were suspicious. The bank teller reported the information to their manager, who contacted authorities. The body com video shows Coogler’s reaction to the police, including the police drawing a gun on the director. Police determined the whole thing was a mistake by the teller, and Coogler “was never in the wrong,” the report says. The handcuffs were immediately removed, and the other two people were released from the back of the patrol vehicle.

New Stories from the Aliens vs. Predators Universe

Aliens vs. Predators: Ultimate Prey from Titan Books will be a series of anthologies around horror icons. The book features “fifteen new and original stories for a first-of-its-kind anthology,” and it’s just been released in the United States. The book is currently available on Amazon.

Deadpool 3 Finds its Director 
Disney/Marvel is ready to bring fan-favorite Deadpool into the MCU fold. It was announced that the director of Disney’s Free Guy, Shawn Levy, will helm Deadpool 3. Reynolds and Levy had great chemistry working together on Free Guy. Disney is banking on creating that same chemistry again, only a bit more “stabby.” Shawn Levy also worked with the Deadpool actor on Netflix’s The Adam Project.

New Final Fantasy 7 Novel Focuses on Cloud’s Love Interests

Real fans of Final Fantasy 7 know that the best ship is between Tifa and Aerith. Square Enix Manga & Books announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake: Traces of Two Pasts novel and other titles will be licensed and released stateside. Final Fantasy VII Remake: Traces of Two Pasts novel follows the two tales of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE’s heroines, Tifa and Aerith, as they tell the stories of their lives leading up to the events of the game. The novel will be released on December 13, 2022.
