Mass Effect is widely considered one of the best sci-fi series in gaming. The franchise debuted in 2007 and has remained a top player in RPG games for PC and console.

Amazon has been in discussion with BioWare and EA to develop a series based on the game for Amazon Prime Video.

A representative from Amazon made a statement about the possible collaboration.

“You will see us continuing to invest in the fantasy genre of all kinds, we have a genre-focused team on the ground in Studios who work tirelessly with our creative partners on those slates, and you can look forward to more.”

There have been rumors for years about a Mass Effect TV series but this is our first credible news about the possible show.
