A New Grendelwald And Where To Find Him

A new trailer for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore dropped today. This new trailer gives us not only a glimpse into the movie itself but our first look at our new Grindelwald, now portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen. We also get to see much of the remainder of the cast, including Jude Law as the eponymous Albus Dumbledore and Eddie Redmayne as the series’ quirky hero, Newt Scamander.

The new trailer shows off the new looks for returning characters and new locales. Even further, we get to see a few more magical beasts, which is Newt’s specialty as a kind of magical Pokemon trainer.

It’s looking more and more like war is coming to the wizarding world, and Dumbledore is building a crack team to keep it from getting out of hand. The film is the third in the Fantastic Beasts series, a prequel series to the popular Harry Potter films, featuring 1920s to 1930s. The events of the films set in motion various series of events intended to lead up to the beloved magical school series.

Opinions On The Matter And Where To Find Them

Many took to Twitter to share their feelings on the matter.

Some were ecstatic over the new trailer, sharing their love of the new casting.

While others took the opportunity to share their displeasure over the cast change.

Still, others took to Twitter to share their displeasure over the series creator, and recent commentary she’s made.

Part of the trailer shows Dumbledore, Newt, and Jacob using a magical transportation device. The design of which felt strikingly similar to something we’ve seen before…

Regardless, it’s full steam ahead as Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore looks to leave the station in April 2022.
