This third-party Transformers set from Dr. Wu is the DW-E02 & DW-E03 set of Big Surge and Intelligence Officer from the Extreme Warfare line. Basically, World’s Smallest Beachcomber and Soundwave. Captain Kyle reviews these to see if these tiny bots could find a home in your collection.
Dr. Wu puts out a lot of great toys, particularly the very small versions. The Intelligence Officer is a small version of Soundwave and is identical in mold to the Monitor Officer, aka Soundblaster, who came with the DESTROY Emperpo, who was clearly Galvatron. Big Surge is Beachcomber with an original mold, though similar to the original G1 Autobot, though with more articulation. This set is a cool one with the Decepticon Communications Officer facing off against… a Geologist. Yeah, makes sense.
