Amazon Prime has finally released the trailer for The Boys Season 3.
Based on the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic book of the same name, The Boys focuses on a world where superheroes are employees of the powerful Vought International Corporation, which monetizes their exploits and uses its power to hide the fact that the majority of them are corrupt.
The trailer for the upcoming season suggests that the ongoing war between The Boys and The Seven might just get more of a level playing field. It also features an even more dysfunctional Homelander, as well a closer look at Jensen Ackles Soldier Boy in action.
Check it out below.
Season 3 of The Boys sees the Seven recovering from a PR crisis after their member Stormfront (Aya Cash) is exposed as a neo-Nazi and white supremacist.
A more detailed synopsis reads:
“It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into The Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy.”
The Boys Season 3 stars Karl Urban. Anthony Starr, Jensen Ackles, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie and Claudia Doumit.
