We had the pleasure of speaking with Shawn Ashmore, the talent who portrayed Ice Man in 4 X-Men films, Mike Weston in The Following and Jake in Animorphs, to name a few! Check out this interview straight from Shore Leave 40!
Shawn, as a science fiction and comic book geek, was very happy to play the role of Bobby Drake (Ice Man) in X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men 3: The Last Stand (even if fans weren’t as thrilled with that film) and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Other roles have been in the 1998 series Animorphs, The Following, Smallville (in which his brother Aaron also had a role), Fringe (with his brother), Quantum Break, Conviction… the list goes on and on. We spoke to him about his new movie project, prospects for future involvement in the X-Men franchise, Halloween costumes and the pyramids of Egypt. This is a fun interview you don’t want to miss.
