Open-world violence simulator designer Rockstar Games released its community update today! The update has a lot of expected information, including updates to GTA5 online, and new console announcements for GTA5 and online! They snuck big news at the end, however.

Rockstar snuck in the announcement that they’re working on a new GTA game. With as little fanfare as possible, they just snuck it in there!
“…we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway.” ~ Rockstar Games.
What this means is not necessarily clear. More than likely this will be GTA 6, but it’s also not unheard of to do spinoff games like Vice City and San Andreas.
Whatever the new entry to the long-running series will be, expect the news to start trickling out soon!
