Pennywise to Return for Prequel

Everyone’s favorite alien clown will be returning for their very own series via HBO Max. “Welcome to Derry,” will be set in the 1960s and then move forward in time leading up to IT(2017). The series will also dive into the origins of Pennywise. Andy Muschietti, who worked on IT part 1 and part 2, is attached to the prequel series along with Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs.  We are excited to see what IT can look like as a series, but what we really want to see is the turtle!

Netflix to Stream One Piece Film: Z

Netflix is will be bringing One Piece Film: Z to the states. ONE PIECE FILM: Z finds Luffy and his crew of Straw Hat Pirates in the New World – facing off against the powerful, former Marine Admiral “Z.” As per the previous ONE PIECE FILM: STRONG WORLD, series creator Eiichiro Oda worked closely with the director on the Z to ensure its authenticity.  The film will be released on Netflix on Friday, Apr. 15 at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT.

E3 Canceled this Year

Surprising news was announced this week that sent the gaming spinning. The E3  convention, a staple in the gaming community announced there will be no convention this year. The ESA has released an official statement about the cancelation.

“We will devote all our energy and resources to delivering a revitalized physical and digital E3 experience next summer. Whether enjoyed from the show floor or your favorite devices, the 2023 showcase will bring the community, media, and industry back together in an all-new format and interactive experience.

“We look forward to presenting E3 to fans around the world live from Los Angeles in 2023.”

Dragons will Rise Again


HBO Max revealed the streaming date for the highly anticipated prequel to Game of Thrones–House of the Dragon. The series will make its grand debut on August 21, 2022. House of the Dragon is set two hundred years before the events of Game of Thrones the series chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen, the events leading up to the Targaryen civil war, known as the “Dance of the Dragons”, and the war itself. The first season will consist of ten episodes.

A Crow Left at the Murder

The Crow reboot/remake seemed to have a curse on it, as the film has been in limbo for over a decade. Many stars have been attached to play the crow, including Luke Evans, Tom Hiddleston, and Jason Momoa. The Crow rises up again and this time it will be in the form of IT actor, Bill Skarsgard. Director Rupert Sanders, best known for helming Snow White and the Huntsman and Ghost in the Shell, will helm the film. Skarsgard will be playing Eric Draven, the same version of the Crow that the late Brandon Lee played.  James O. Barr, the creator of the Crow, has many different versions/stories about the Crow, leaving many fans to wonder why not tell another story, instead of the one so synonymous with Lee and his legacy? The project is well into preproduction ahead of a June start date, with shooting to take place in Prague and Munich.

An Ultimate Team Up in New Dr. Strange 2 Trailer 

Wanda and Wong team up in the epic trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The fate of the Multiverse awaits. Tickets for Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness go on sale on April 6. Experience it only in theaters on May 6.
