Day of the Dead effects artist Tom Savini gave a panel at New Jersey Horror Con Fall 2022 to talk about his work in special effects, his acting, and to answer fan questions.
Tom Savini created amazing makeup and visual effects in Day of the Dead, but is also known for his work on Friday the 13th, Creepshow, Dawn of the Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Black Phone, Red Scorpion, and many more. As an actor, he was Sex Machine (and killed Danny Trejo) in From Dusk Till Dawn but is also known for his roles in Dawn of the Dead, Machete, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Lost Boys: The Tribe, NOS4A2, and Locke and Key.
