Cathy Moriarty (RAGING BULL, SOAPDISH) Panel – NJHC 2022

Raging Bull actor Cathy Moriarty gave a panel at New Jersey Horror Con Spring 2022 to talk about her breakout first role, her career, and to answer fan questions.

Cathy Moriarty’s very first role was Vickie La Motta in the Robert De Niro classic Raging Bull. While she did go on to her second role in Neighbors, a near-fatal car accident took her out of the business for about six years. After her return, she managed some small roles in productions like Wiseguy and Kindergarten Cop, but Soapdish really relaunched her career. She has also appeared in Tales from the Crypt, Rebel Highway, Casper, Bless This House, But I’m a Cheerleader, Analyze That, and American Crime Story. Voice roles include parts in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure and Hey Arnold!

This panel was moderated by Chris Stiles on April 9th, 2022.
