On August 21, 2022, HBO released a sizzle reel of their upcoming projects. The two-minute trailer featured footage from shows like Succession, The White Lotus, Our Flags Mean Death, and to the surprise of gaming fans everywhere, The Last of Us.

Is that reel sizzlin’ or what?! HBO’s The Last of Us will follow the events of both games. The live-action adaptation has an all-star cast that includes Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), Nick Offerman (Parks & Rec), Nico Parker (Dumbo), and Storm Reid (Euphoria).
Photos were also released that give us a better look at the cast and the danger of this world.
The Last of Us TV series is slated to air sometime in 2023.
